Governors
The remit for the Governing Body is to:
- Oversee the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent.
- Hold the headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils, and the performance management of staff; and
- Ensure clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction.
Our governing boards main role is too ensure our children get the best from their time at school, they do this by supporting the school leadership team and holding the leaders to account for pupil outcomes. They work closey with the school, spending time at governing meetings and in school with staff & children this allows them to closely monitors we are meeting our statutory requirements around safeguarding and curriculum.
